If it wasn't for the freezing cold rain and constant breeze running over my coat-less, umbrella-less body, I might not have felt so close to death standing in line for the concert last night.
And if it wasn't for the unruly mob that sucked us, the true fans, into being the wall of the mosh pit, I might have enjoyed the show a bit more. And if it wasn't for the elbows, heads, shoulders, and various other body parts grinding into my chest, I might have been able to breathe easier. And if it wasn't for the fact that I had to keep looking behind me in hopes to catch the Nike of a crowd-surfer before it rammed my head, and the holding up of passed-out attendees around me, I might have enjoyed the show a bit more. And if it wasn't for the battle I fought just to keep my balance through the entire show, I might have been able to enjoy it a bit more.
I am not mad. I am not regretting I went. I am just thoroughly disappointed in the crowd. I seriously was holding back many, many punches. The *ONLY* reason I didn't (because if you're gonna punch anyone... do it in a mosh pit where it's somewhat accepted) is because I knew that would only add fuel to the fire and I would lose all chance to enjoy at least some of the show. (Please note I've never punched anyone, ever. But I would have last night.)
Tool should not have a rowdy crowd. There are no words to describe the hatred I have for so many individuals of this sold out, crapped out, and jaded society.

I have some new B&W's I took of Becky. We like them, but I can't seem to get myself to scan and post them. Keep bugging me about them and maybe I'll get around to them quicker.

Yeah. I don't know what's up with the last blog. It just slipped out.

TOOL tomorrow night! G.A. Tix, boyeeee. I'm gonna be in heaven again.
Too bad I can't get off work until 2pm and I can't even have Wednesday off. I am working far too much. 63 hours the other week, 52 last week, probably around 50 again this week. Kill me.... j-j-just..... kill me.

Have a happy Halloween everyone. Go Eagles!

The Ring is the scariest movie I've ever seen.

Keep in mind... nothing scares me anymore.

Without coming off like a complete egomaniac.... I'd like to share a drawing I did on StileNet's Doodledraw.com.

This is my rendition of a concert pic of Maynard, lead singer of Tool. The song is Reflection and the lyrics you will see on there are part of the song. I just love this picture, it's one of the best things i've ever done! And it's all done using a mouse to draw with (and photoshop-like tools to paint with).

    Here it is

A couple weeks ago, a woman wanted a copy of this photo I have in my store. It's a macro shot of a flower I took while in OBX. I used it for a display demonstrating our bordered prints.
When I told her it was mine and I have the negative to make any size she would like, she ended up wanting a 16x20 print! So, $19.99 for the print and $10 for my pocket, she wanted to do it. So I received the print back the other day and it looks pretty good. I just don't see what the big deal is, though. I figure maybe I should add it into my photography section -- so now you can see it in there. It's the last one, the pink macro.

I would aslo like to mention how one dream of mine has come true recently. I've been waiting 5 years for this.
Anyone who knows me, knows I always have a soda on me. Always. I've tried many times seeing if I could switch to water, for it would be so much better for my health. But I can't. I need the caffeine. I had heard of a caffeinated water somewhere out there and for five years, I have looked in every market I go into. San Fran, Cleveland, northern PA, anywhere I go. I look. I can't find. But it occured to me that I should look online. So I did. And I FOUND IT.
    AND I ORDERED IT.
    AND I RECEIVED IT!

    Water Joe's Caffeinated Water

Looks like water, tastes like water, smells like water. It's 100% water. But enriched with the power of caffeine. (About the same as one cup of coffee)
It's weird. You can't taste it - you almost have to trust there's caffeine in there.
I am a happy boy for this.

Man, that Avril Lavigne... she really needs to get that hair out of her face.
She's such a good singer trapped in an adolescent, A.D.H.D. body.
What she should do is do her own thing out of the public eye for about 5-10 years and then break out. I'd be willing to bet she will be on the music scene for a good number of years to come, inevitably going solo and writing more meaningful songs gaining herself some reputable notoriety. But now.... not many can really respect her in her current ways.

Or maybe that's just me. And I still can't find a still of The Sims commercial... dammit.

Hello. I used to have a blog, here, for 6 years up until 2006 when I needed to walk away from it all for a bit. After some time alone and the discovery of Twitter, I've decided to put cozbaldwin.com back into business. Twitter allows me to make brief updates at any time from anywhere. They are the blogs between the blogs. This is especially helpful since I rarely have the motivation to write out entire blogs anymore.
